General Information

Nepal, once the only Hindu Kingdom is largely dominated by Hindu and Buddhist backgrounds of religious people. There are thousands of temples in the country and each is attached to a legend that glorifies the miraculous powers of its deity. Nepal is also home to 'Lumbini' which is a birth place of Gautam Buddha. UNESCO has also listed the pilgrimage sites such as: Pashupatinath temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Swoyambhunath and Changu Narayan temple on its world heritage list.
