Kanchanjunga Pathibhara Trail Trekking

General Information

Pathibhara Devi Shrine (3,794m), located at Tapethok VDC 19 km from Phungling, the district headquarters of Taplejung district is a popular pilgrimage destination of both Hindus and Buddhists. The goddess is believed to fulfill the long cherished dreams of her devotees. The Pathibhara pilgrimage may take 4 to 5 days and the best time to visit is from March to June and September to November. The thick forest ecosystem along the trail offers diversity of wildlife, birds, flowers and butterflies. Most of the Kanchenjunga range can be seen from this point.

Trip Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Day 02: Full day sightseeing in Kathmandu.(B)
Day 03: Kathmandu to Suketar (2420m) to Deurali tea shop (B.L.D)
Day 04: Deurali to Phedi 5 hrs Teashops (B.L.D)
Day 05: Phedi-Pathibhara-Phedi 6 hrs tea shop (B.L.D)
Day 06: Phedi- Suketar 5 hrs lodge (B.L.D)
Day 07: Suketar to Kathmandu (B.L)
Day 08: Depart to home country. (B)
