Hiking in Nepal - Shivapuri Hiking

General Information

Shivapuri is second highest hill around Kathmandu valley at an altitude of 2563m north of Kathmandu. The hike follows through the temple of Buddhanilkantha and Shivapuri conservation area and Nagi Gompa the Buddhist nuns only monastery in Kathmandu. It is a steep uphill hike through narrow and dusty trail for about an hour and two hours gradual uphill trial to shivapuri.

Trip Itinerary

Day 01: Meet at Kathmandu Airport and transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Drive to trailhead to Budhanilkantha and start hike to Shivapuri (B.L.D)
Day 03: Shivapuri hike to Dhap (B.L.D)
Day 04: Dhap hike to Chisapani (B.L.D)
Day 05: Chisapani hike to Sundarijal and drive back to Kathmandu hotel (B.L)
Day 06: Drive to Airport for Return flight (B)
