Khumbu Valley Trekking

General Information

This Khumbu Valley Trek provides a glimpse of the Himalayan territory of Nepal as you trek to two beautiful mountain regions such as Mt. Everest and Mount Makalu Regions. The trek passes through one of the most scenically stunning areas of Nepal such as villages Khumjung, Kunde, Thamichhok and Phortse offering outstanding mountain views, fabulous Nepali culture and diversified landscapes. Khumbu Valley trek is a high altitude trek, so it's undoubtedly tough but the scenery provides more than ample rewards.

Trip Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Sight-Seeing Kathmandu Valley. (B)
Day 03: Fly Kathmandu to Lukla (2800m) Trek to Phakding (2640m) 4 hrs (B.L.D)
Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3446m) 6 hrs (B.L.D)
Day 05: Acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar (B.L.D)
Day 06: Trek to Thengboche Monastery (3860m) 5 hrs (B.L.D)
Day 07: Tengboche to Kumjung 6 hrs (B.L.D)
Day 08: Kumjung to Phakding 5 hrs (B.L.D)
Day 09: Phakding to Lukla (2800m) 5 hrs (B.L.D)
Day 10: Lukla to Kathmandu by flight (1350m) (B)
Day 11: Final Departure to your own destination (B)

  • Kathmandu Hotel Accommodation room with break fast basis
  • Kathmandu-Lukla-Kathmandu Air Fare
  • Sagarmatha Conservation Park entry permits fees
  • Trekkers Information Management System (TIMS) fees
