Hiking in Nepal - Chepang Hill Hiking

General Information

Chepang hill (1945m) lies on Mahabharat range north from Chitwan National Park. The hill is named after indigenous ethnic group ‘Chepang people’ who lead a semi-nomadic life and have rich cultural traditions. Chepang hill hike leads through the homeland of Chepangs and their lovely villages in order to create awareness about Chepang culture among foreign visitors and Nepalese people. Chepang hill hike also offers spectacular views of the mountains and beautiful sunrise and sunset views. Hence, this hike is a rare combination of cultural and sightseeing e experience.

Trip Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu, transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Full day sightseeing in Kathmandu city (B)
Day 03: Drive to Hugdi Bazaar and trek to Hattibang (1400m) 5 hrs tent camp (B.L.D)
Day 04: Hattibang to Jyndala (1600m) 5 hrs tent camp (B.L.D)
Day 05: Jyandala to Gadi (1275m) via Siraichuli 6 hrs tent camp (B.L.D)
Day 06: Gadi to Saktikhor (355m) 6 hrs tent camp (B.L.D)
Day 07: Drive from Shaktikhor to Kathmandu (B)
Day 08: Departure to Home. (B)

  • Kathmandu Hotel Accommodation room with break fast basis
  • Trekkers Information Management System (TIMS) Fee
  • All land transfer as per given itinerary
