About Kathmandu Durbar Square
Kathmandu Durbar Square also known as Hanuman Dhoka palace is the ancient palace of Nepalese royalty. The urban and ceremonial focal point of the city has the complex of palace buildings, courtyards, and pagoda temples built between the 12th and 18th centuries. Here, you also get to visit the temple of living goddess (Kumari) who acknowledges the greetings of her devotees from balcony of her temple residence 'Kasthamandap' made from the timber of a single tree.

About Balaju Water Garden
Balaju also known as Lhuti is sitauated below Nagarjun hill about 3 km northwest from the center of the city. The Balaju garden consists of stone water sprouts, religious shrines, fish ponds and a replica of the statue of Buddhanilkantha.
