Restricated Area Trekking in Nepal

There are many remote areas in Nepal where the entry for foreigners is strictly prohibited by the government of Nepal. You must travel with a liaison officer and pay for a special permit and each group must consist of two clients and the required staff. The main objective of declaring these areas as restricted areas is to protect the natural environment and culture from the outside influence. Hence, trekking in these areas is different in many features from the ordinary ones.
