Hiking in Nepal - Gorkha Hiking

General Information

Gorkha district situated 140 km far from Kathmandu city is home of legendary Gurkha soldiers. Some 300 years back, Nepal was scattered into 50 tiny states and Gorkha was one of them. King Prithvi Narayan Shah, the founder of modern Nepal united the Himalayan Kingdom into one garland of different cultures and ethnic people. His Gorkha palace lies on top of a hill at an altitude of 3281 ft.

Trip Itinerary

Day 01: Meet at Kathmandu Airport and transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Drive to Gorkha (B)
Day 03: Hike to Gorkha Palace. Explore the area and back to hotel. (B)
Day 04: Drive back to Kathmandu. (B)
Day 05: Final departure on your own destination. (B)
