General Information
Annapurna Base Camp is one of the most beautiful treks that combine easy walking with majestic scenery and a mix of cultures unmatched by any other treks in Nepal. The trail starts from lowland villages and rice terraces deep into the Annapurna Himal. As you gradually climb uphill, the peaks of Annapurna south and Hiunchuli emerge from behind the foothills. Pastures and cultivated fields soon give way to deep forests of oak, bamboo and rhododendron. The trail finally stumbles across moraines and reaches Annapurna Sanctuary from where you will see undeniably beautiful and unimaginable 360 degree views of the Annapurna mountain ranges.
Trip Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival and transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu to Pokhara 7 hrs by bus (B)
Day 03: 1½ hrs drive to Nayapull and start trek to Tikhedhunga (1575m) 5 hrs (B.L.D)
Day 04: Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (2853m) 6 hrs (B.L.D)
Day 05: Ghorepani to Tadapani (2652m) 5 hrs (B.L.D)
Day 06: Tadapani to Chhomrung (2020m) 5 hrs (B, L, D)
Day 07: Chhomrong to Dovan (2630m) 6 hrs (B, L, D)
Day 08: Dovan to M.B.C (3700m) 5 hrs (B, L, D)
Day 09: M.B.C to Annapurna Base Camp (4130m) trek down to Dovan 6 hrs (B, L, D)
Day 10: Dovan to Chhomrung 5 hrs (B, L, D)
Day 11: Chhomrung to Landrung (1950m) 5 hrs (B, L, D)
Day 12: Landrung to Dhampus 5 hrs (B, L, D)
Day 13: Dhampus to Phedi and 40 minuites drive to Pokhara (B,L)
Day 14: Pokhara to Kathmandu 7 hrs drive or 30 min flight (B)
Day 15: Final departure to the airport for your country home (B)
