Rafting in Nepal - Tamur River Rafting

General Information

This, Tamur River originating around Kanchenjunga is a major river in eastern Nepal, which joins the Arun river to form giant Saptakoshi river. The expedition offers the most gorgeous white water rafting with a scenic beauty of unspoiled valley and views of the Himalayan range including Mt.Everest, Mt.Kanchenjunga and Mt.Makalu, combined with one of the most panoramic treks in Nepal.

Trip Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel. Day 02: Guided tour in Kathmandu and preparation for Raft (B)
Day 03: Drive Basantapur via Dharan. (B.L.D)
Day 04: Arrive Basantapur and prepare for trekking and camp. (B.L.D)
Day 05: Trek to Mangalbare about 5 hours and camp. (B.L.D)
Day 06: Trek to Guphapokhari about 5 hours and camp. (B.L.D)
Day 07: Trek to Gorja about 5 hours and camp. (B.L.D)
Day 08: Trek to Dobhan about 3 hours and camp. (B.L.D)
Day 09: Rafting starts at Tamor River. Run class 4/5 rapids and camp at Kabelidobhan. (B.L.D)
Day 10: Rafting whitewater section and camp nearby Koya River bank. (B.L.D)
Day 11: Raft down calm section and camp at Dumre. (B.L.D)
Day 12: Rafting the continuos whitewater rapids of Tamor River and camp near Tribenighat. (B.L.D)
Day 13: Rafting about 3 hours and finish at Chatra. Drive to Dharan. (B.L)
Day 14: Drive to Kathmandu. (B)
Day 15: Final departure to Airport. (B)
