Jungle Safari in Nepal - Koshitapu Wildlife Reserve

General Information

Located in the wetlands in the Sunsari, Saptari and Udaypur districts of the Terai region 'Koshi Tappu Wildlife' is a protected area covering total area of 175 km per square. The wildlife reserve is accessible from Mahendra Highway and lies in the flood plains of Sapta Koshi river, which is the largest river in Nepal.

Nearly 485 birds, 31 mammals and 200 species of fish has been recorded in the reserve, making it an exotic destination among nature lovers. The main highlights of the wildlife reserve are Wild asian water buffalo, Blue bull, Gangetic Dolphin, and globally threatened Swamp partridge. The panoramic view of World's fifth highest Mt. Makalu adds to the beauty of the trip dramatically.

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel.
Day 02: Fly to Biratnagar and drive to Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve. (B.L.D)
