General Information
The Jomsom Muktinath Trek is a part of Annapurna circuit trekking that offers Nepal's spectacular diversity at its finest. Himalayan Experts trek in the Mustang region includes the world's deepest gorge of the Kali Gandaki River. The trek reaching the maximum altitude of 3800m (12,464 ft) can be completed by anybody with a moderate level of fitness. As you walk through the trail, you get to explore the hundreds of years old monastery, caves, local tribes, scenic beauties of different landscapes, and panoramic views of Nilgiri, Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and several other peaks. The sacred Hindu and Buddhist pilgrimage site of Muktinath (3800m)12,464 ft is also in Mustang, which has 108 waterfalls that resembles water flowing from taps and mysterious natural gas fires that boggle the mind.
Trip Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival and transfer to hotel.
Day 02: 7 hrs drive fly to Pokhara. (B)
Day 03: 1½ Drive to Nayapul and start trek to Tikedhunga (1575m) 5 hrs (B.L.D)
Day 04: Tikedhunga to Ghorepani (2853m) 6 hrs (B.L.D)
Day 05: Ghorepani to poon hill and trek down to Tatopani(1189m) 7 hrs (B.L.D)
Day 06: Tatopani to Ghasa (2015m) 6 hrs (B.L.D)
Day 07: Ghasa to Marpha (2665m) 6 hrs (B.L.D)
Day 08: Marpha to Kagbeni (2800m) 5 hrs (B.L.D)
Day 09: Kagbeni to Muktinath (3800m) 4 hrs (B.L.D)
Day 10: Muktinath to Jomsom (2710m) 5 hrs (B.L.D)
Day 11: Jomsom to Pokhara by flight and transfer to hotel. (B)
Day 12: 7 hrs drive to Kathmandu.(B)
Day 13: Relax and shopping day. (B)
Day 14: Final departs to your destination. (B)
