General Information
Gosainkunda trekking is situated close to the Tibetan border and remote valley enclosed by snow-capped mountains that ends in the peak of Langtang Lirung (7246m). As you pass through the Langtang forest, you get to experience the wildlife including red pandas, Himalayan black bear, Wild boar and langur monkeys while enjoying the panorama of beautiful snow-capped mountains. The trek is a joint trek of Langtang valley and the holiest lake Gosainkunda, at an altitude of 4,380m above sea level with the surface of 34 acres.
Trip Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival and transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Full day sightseeing around of the Kathmandu valley (B)
Day 03: Early moring drive to Dhunche (1950m) 6 hrs (B.L.D)
Day 04: Dhunche to Shingompa (3350m) 5 hrs (B.L.D)
Day 05:.Shingompa to Gosaikunda (4380m) 6 hrs (B.L.D)
Day 06: Explore day at Gosainkunda (B.L.D)
Day 07: Gosaikunda to Tharepati (3600m) 7 hrs (B.L.D)
Day 08: Tharepati to Kutumsang (2470m) 6 hrs (B.L.D)
Day 09: Kutumsang to Chisapani (2195m) 6 hrs (B.L.D)
Day 10: Chisapani to Sundarijal and drive to Kathmandu (1350m) 5 hrs (B.L)
Day 11: Final departure to Airport.
