About Temple of Pashupatinath
Pashupatinath temple is one of the holiest Hindu shrines in the world dedicated to Lord Shiva, which lies 5 km to the east of center of Kathmandu. The temple is situated amidst a lush green forest on the back of the sacred Bagmati River, the temple, which was built in pagoda style, has a glided roof and beautifully carved silver doors. Visitors to the temple are only permitted from the east bank of the river, as entrance to all non-Hindus is strictly prohibited.

About Boudhanath Stupa
The Boudhanath Stupa also known as 'Khasti, lies 6 km to the east of downtown. The stupa was built by King Man Deva at the advice of the Goddess Mani Jogini, has four pair of eyes in the cardinal directions. The shrine is surrounded by Buddhist monasteries and priests which provides a perfect insight into the Tibetan culture.

About Patan Durbar Square
Patan Durbar Square also listed in World heritage site lies 5 km away from Kathmandu city in Patan city. The city is a treasure of fine arts, enclosed with 4 stupas, which are said to have been built in the 3rd century A.D by Emperor Ashoka. The palace also has the Krishna temple, Hiranya Varna Mahavihar and Mahaboudha temple.
