Kanchenjunga Base Camp Trekking

General Information

We at 'Himalayan Experts' arrange for Kanchenjunga Base Camp Trekking which is an ideal trekking route in remote regions of Eastern Nepal, third highest mountain in the world at 8586 meters. The trek takes you through the glory of rhododendrons, orchids, lilies, primula, Kanchenjunga glacier and a close up view of Kanchenjunga peak as you approach the Kanchenjunga base camp at Pang Pema. The area also has a rich diversity of wildlife including snow leopard, Himalayan black bear, musk deer, red panda and others.

Trip Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

Day 07: Kyapra – Gunsa (3600m) tent camp (B.L.D)
Day 08: Gunsa - Kambachen tent camp (B.L.D)
Day 09: Kambachen - Lonak tent camp (B.L.D)
Day 10: Lonak - Pangpema Kanchanjunga base camp (5500m) back to Lonak tent camp (B.L.D)
Day 11: Lonak - Gunsa tent camp (B.L.D)
Day 12: Gunsa - Tseram tent camp (B.L.D)
Day 13: Tseram - Ramche (4420m) tent camp (B.L.D)
Day 14: Day trip to Yalung Glacier tent camp (B.L.D)
Day 15: Ramche - Chirwa tent camp (B.L.D)
Day 16: Chirwa - Anpan (2250m) tent camp (B.L.D)
