Rafting in Nepal - Bhotekoshi River Rafting

General Information

Bhotekoshi (known as river from Tibet in Nepali language)is the steepest river rafting in Nepal that originates from Tibet Autonomous Region of China as the name suggests. The river is steep and continuous with one rapid leading to another. The rapids are generally of class IV-V at high flow, and III at lower levels. This expedition also offers the scenic beauty of high green hills ,forests, long water streams and interesting local villages.

Trip Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Guided tour in Kathmandu and preparation for Raft (B)
Day 03: Drive to Rafting starting point and then the guides will brief you on the safety aspects of the trip. We jump straight into grade 4 rapids like Gerbil in the plumbing and Frog in the Blender. Finish the day off we have Carnal Knowledge of a Deviant Nature, a huge rock slalom with a 2 meter drop into a hole and a pool after we exit and the bus drives us back up stream to our campsite. Day 04: We thrill and spill our way down numerous drops and eddies. Bump around boulders, occasionally getting stuck on them. Then we enter a narrow canyon and on to the Midnight Special, a gun barrel of a rapid which slams you up against a wall. Next we have The Great Wall, Liquid Bliss and the long, hard class 4 plus rapid Jhon Holmes.
Day 05: Drive back to Kathmandu. (B)
Day 06: Final departure to Airport. (B)
