Royal Trekking

General Information

The Royal Trek is one of the short treks that follow a shrub like path along the foothills of Annapurna, north of the Pokhara valley. The trek earned its name after Prince Charles of the Great Britain and his 90 entourage explored the route in the early eighties. The Royal trek offers the splendid mountain views of Annapurna south, Himchuli, Lamjung Himal, Manaslu, Fish tail and Annapurna II III IV. You also get an opportunity get to explore meaningful cultural experiences with the diverse people and cultures that inhabit this region.

Trip Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Full day sightseeing tour in Kathmandu.(1350m) (B)
Day 03: 7 hrs drive Pokhara (950m) (B)
Day 04: Drive 1 hrs and start Trek to Kalikastan (1500m) 4 hrs (B.L.D)
Day 05: Trek to Shaklung (1230m) 6 hrs (B.L.D)
Day 06: Trek to Chisapani(2000m) 5 hrs (B.L.D)
Day 07: Trek back to Pokhara 3 hrs (B.L)
Day 08: 7 hrs drive to Kathmandu.(B)
Day 09: Depart to Airport (B)

Cost Include

  • Kathmandu-Pokhara-Kathmandu by tourist coach
  • Kathmandu-Pokhara-Kathmandu hotel accommodation with bed and breakfast basis
  • All land transfer as per given itinerary
  • Annapurna Conservation Area Project entry permits fees
  • Trekkers Information Management System (TIMS) fees
  • Accommodation and 3 meals a day while on the trek
  • Fully escorted trek with fluent English speaking license holder trekking Guide & each 2 persons a Porter
  • All program according to itineraries on full board.
  • Wages, equipment, insurance and other facilities to staffs

  • Kathmandu/ Pokhara Hotel Lunch and Dinner
  • Travel Insurance (this is a mandatory condition of booking)
